How to stamp a pdf

Stamping applies an image — a logo, a company seal, or a scanned signature — onto PDF pages at a position and size you choose.

  1. 1

    Choose your PDF

Drop the document you want to stamp.

  2. 2

    Add the stamp image

Upload a PNG or JPG. Enable background removal if your image has a white background you want made transparent.

  3. 3

    Position and download

Choose the position, size, and opacity, pick which pages to stamp, then click Stamp.

Your files never leave your device

Unlike most online PDF tools, this one uploads nothing. Everything runs inside your browser, so your document is never transmitted, never stored on a server, and never seen by anyone but you. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet entirely and the tool still works.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every operation runs inside your browser. The file is read into memory on your own device, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. It is never sent to a server, never stored, and never seen by anyone else. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works.
How do I get a transparent background?
Use a PNG with real transparency, or enable background removal, which makes near-white pixels transparent — this works well for a signature scanned on white paper.
Can I stamp every page at once?
Yes. Choose all pages, or give specific page numbers and ranges to stamp only some.
What is the difference between Stamp and Sign?
Stamp applies an existing image file to one or many pages. Sign lets you draw a signature by hand directly onto the page with a mouse, finger, or stylus.
