How to sign a pdf online

Signing lets you draw your signature straight onto the page with a mouse, finger, or stylus — the digital equivalent of signing a printed page with a pen. The ink is written into the PDF as vector strokes, so it stays sharp at any zoom or print size.

Frequently asked questions

Is my signed document uploaded anywhere?

No. Every operation runs inside your browser. The file is read into memory on your own device, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. It is never sent to a server, never stored, and never seen by anyone else. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works.

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

This produces a visual signature — the equivalent of signing a printed page and scanning it. It is widely accepted for everyday agreements, but it is not a certificate-based cryptographic signature. In India, only signatures backed by a licensed Certifying Authority carry the statutory presumption of validity under the IT Act.

Can I sign more than one page?

Yes. Navigate between pages and draw on each one; all your ink is applied when you download.

Will my signature look pixelated when printed?

No. Strokes are stored as vector paths rather than a bitmap image, so the signature stays smooth at any zoom level or print resolution.
